Names

Names are important. That's the bottom line. I have been asked by many people if I have picked a name for our new baby girl yet. I really haven't. I'm a little stumped, so I am enlisting all of my blog friends to help me out. I really only have one criteria. It has to be sing-ably great! For example:

Just kidding, I just think that's funny!
Thanks for the help!

I remember that Cheers episode! So funny! If we ever have a girl (which won't happen because we'd like to be done having kids all together!), we will name her Caroline or Sydney. We're pretty boring with names and go for more traditional ones. My friend is having a girl next month and she's naming her either Baylor or Bristol, as in Palin. At first I thought she was crazy, but I kind of like it now. Good luck deciding!

Cute video. I also have a sing-able name. But, WOW--naming a child is such pressure! We really struggled with both. I like all the names your other friends have come up with but my favorite of them (besides Emma of course) is Sienna. I think it sounds good with your last name too.

I had no idea your were pregnant! I should have guessed when you were mentioning the 2 cookie thing, but no. It wasn't until you said something in your comment on my blog, duh. So CONGRATS! How far are you? Whens the due date? We like unusual names that are not common and so I don't know if you would like any we have thought of or not. But here are a few.

Hayvn (HAY-VIN)
(we are naming our son
Hayven, but I think it works for a girl too, spelled different)

Toryn (TOR-IN)
Ashlyn

Goodluck! I think the most important thing in naming a baby is making sure there won't be any cruel nicknames or jokes. :)

Good luck with the name. I don't have a lot of favorite girl names but I do like

June

Enjoy the smores! You can always use the "My tummy is bigger" response. That is what I tell Kai when I have difficulty controlling the number of rice crispy treats that I eat!

Malia

My friend named her little girl Isla (Eye-la). I thought that was really cute. One of my friends growing up was born in March and they named her Clover. I think it's really cute too. Brynne, Savannah, and Grace are also cute.

Good luck!

I totally forgot about this until I read the comments but I LOVE the name Lily. Just one L, and it goes great with Melin. Lily Melin. Oh, I love it.

That's totally my vote.

I had to get on to see if any of MY names were given as suggestions...but I'm smart enough to not give you any of my names! Two of them are on here though- Kaylee and Lilly. Love those! Good luck
